We had the thrill of visiting Iceland and to say it was spectacular is an understatement. The landscape, the people, the energy and the experiences were out of this world. With its stunning waterfalls, dramatic glaciers, and stunning northern lights, Iceland offers unforgettable experiences - but it also presents unique packing challenges. Having the right gear can indeed make or break your trip. So, here is a list of the essentials from our trip. Let’s dive in!

1. Pelican Watreproof Phone Case

This floating phone case was an essential accessory for our Icleand adventure. This durable case provides full waterproof protection, keeping your phone safe from rain, splashes, or accidental drops. The clear front is touch-sensitive material so you can easily use your device to capture stunning photos of waterfalls, the Northern Lights, and volcanic landscapes without removing it.

2. Kooder Shoe Dryers

These shoe dryers were game-changers during our trip. At the end of a day trekking across glaciers, hiking behind waterfalls, or exploring icy caves, our shoes were damp. This dryer uses gentle heat and air circulation to dry the your shoes quickly. They are compact and easy to pack and have a USB plug.

3. Ourcan Waterproof Pants

There's nothing worse than being wet on a hike so these waterproof pants were a non-negotiable. These pants kept us dry in rain, on hikes, and, on boats. The fabric is breathable and comfortable and they easily fit over legging or other pants. .

4.I-GO Mini First Aid Kit

We love this compact kit! It keeps us ready for minor emergencies. It comes in a durable, travel-friendly case, and includes bandages, antiseptic wipes, scissors, and more. Perfect for those little cuts, scrapes, and bumps that come from being outdoors.

5. Baleaf Thermal Leggings

When in Iceland it's all about layering to stay warm and these were the ticket! They are fleece lined and lock in heat for dry warmth. They have 2 side pockets for extra storage. Plus, they are really comfortable!

6. Alvada Wool Socks

These socks were the perfect blend of comfort and warmth. They are made from merino wool, are moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating. Our feet stayed dry the whole trip.

7. Zomake Packable Hiking Backpack

This was the perfect backpack for our daily excursions. It is lightweight, foldable (easy to fit in any bag), has multiple pockets, and is water resistant! Comes in many fun colors too!

8. Merino Tech Neck Gaiter

These gaiters were perfect for protecting our faces from wind or sun. They’re made from lightweight merino wool with super stretch and wicking. We had them with us everyday, and they were easy to pull on, pull up, or pull off.

9. Retractable Clothesline

A retractable clothesline is a staple for our travel. There is never enough room in hotel rooms to dry or air-out clothes. It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to attach to in your bathroom or balcony area without damaging surfaces. We love how we can pack lighter while still having fresh clothes ready to go for every adventure.

10.Compression Packing Cubes

When going to Iceland you will most likely bring heavier or bulkier items but definitely don't want an extra suitecase. These compression packing cubes are a perfect solution. They are nylon with a waterproof coating and are really durable. They have reinforced seams so you get heavy weight compresson to optimize your space.

11.Body Glide Anti Blister Balm

This was a lifesaver for our feet! Its non-greasy, sweat-resistant formula puts a barrier on your skin, reducing friction from shoes, clothing, or gear. Easy to apply and long-lasting. Perfect way to keep blisters at bay!

Enjoy the recos. Travel well friends.
